Privacy Statement

This privacy statement applies to all business processes in Lofoten Arctic Water AS , hereinafter referred to as the Processing Manager.

 

The statement provides information about data processing performed by the Processing Manager and determines the purpose and means of processing as well as data processing we do on behalf of our customers based on their instructions.

Processing of personal data is necessary for us to be able to fulfill our contractual obligations and serve you as a customer. Personal data can also be used for the following purposes: Sales, contact with customer service, marketing, information, bookkeeping.

When marketing by e-mail / sms, obtain explicit consent in advance.

 

By providing us with your personal information, you accept the practices and terms described in this privacy statement.

If you have objections with regard to our processing of privacy, you also have the opportunity to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.

Information collected

Information can be registered and stored when you register at www.lofotenarticwater.com, when you are in contact with sales and support either via e-mail, chat or when you use our services.

 

Where do we store information about you - and where do we share the information about you with others?

Our e-commerce platform is provided by Mystore.no AS and data is stored in their cloud services at Amazon Cloud Services' (AWS) data center in Ireland.

 

Subcontractors

The data controller also uses services provided by 3rd parties. Here is an overview of subcontractors where information can be stored

 

Vipps:

If you pay with Vipps in the online store, your telephone number will be sent to Vipps for further identification.

 

Klarna:

If you pay with Klarna in the online store, personal information such as e-mail, name, address, social security number will be shared with Klarna for credit.

 

Google Analytics:

Google Analytics is used for traffic analysis. IP addresses and visitor patterns are stored.

 

DHL:

We send packages with DHL and thus share information related to shipping such as name, telephone number and address.

FedEX:

We send packages with FedEx and thus share information related to shipping such as name, telephone number and address.

 

Communication through e-mail and sms

As a customer, you will be able to receive e-mails and text messages about your customer relationship. For example, we will send you e-mail / sms related to orders you have placed, sms with tracking number, forgotten password, information about your customer account, etc. This is defined as a legitimate interest and consent will not be sought.

 

We also use e-mail for marketing and communication. As a customer of the Data Protection Officer, you will regularly receive newsletters as long as you have given active consent to it. It is possible to unsubscribe from newsletters by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails.

 

Insight and correction

You are entitled to access the information that is registered about you. Access can also be obtained by sending an inquiry to sales@lofoten-water.com . If the registered information is incorrect or incomplete, you can demand that the information be corrected in accordance with the Personal Data Act.

 

Storage and deletion

Information that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was created is deleted from our systems.
